Parker has an enormous latte in hand, her shades on, and her card primed. SfS doesn't have couture, but she's most likely *not* going to be buying for herself. And what the hell, it looks like the clothes they have are cute.

Alec had heard about the shopping trip somewhat handwavily and, well, he had some money and about three changes of clothes, one of which was his old uniform.

So he was there to do some shopping of his own. And possibly be on the look-out for girls trying on wee!tiny skirts new outfits.

Callisto raised an eyebrow when she saw Alec. "Didn't realise you were looking for a new dress too."

He grinned. "Thought I'd see if any of the places had clothes for guys as well as dresses and high heels - which could work for certain guys maybe, but I'm not exactly in the market."

"I don't know, strapping young man like you might look good in a microskirt," Callisto said. " Just ask Crichton about his friend Johnina some time."

Rory was eyeing a pair of shoes, thoughtfully.

Not that she needed any more shoes, mind.

But she could look. And reach for her AmEx.

Parker cocked her head at said shoes. "Verrrry pretty. And hi. Espresso?" Since she'd bought extra for Jamie....

"Espresso?" Rory's ears practically perked up. "And yes, they're pretty. But I need more shoes like I need a hole in the head, so...."

In the interests of entertainment, Parker gave Rory one of Jamie's espressos. "Bought it for Jamie, but he doesn't need it yet. C'mon. Who doesn't want another hole in their head, especially if it's an ear-piercing for diamonds?" Evil smile. "Buy the shoooooes. They loooove you, Rory."

"Morning, Parker," Elizabeth smiled at her, clutching her own source of caffinated goodness in her hands.

"Hey, Liz." Parker waved her own drink at her. "Glad you could make it. Sorry about the short notice. Did you see the shoes?

"No problem. It's not as if I've got an active calendar at the moment," Elizabeth grinned. "Shoes?" She took one look and her eyes widened. "Are you wanting me to break my neck or ankle?!" she asked, laughing slightly.

Without missing a beat, Parker said, "Ankle, of course. Bring in the sympathy votes." She grinned. "You need some more *fun* clothes. All your stuff is nice, but it's just a little too conservative for a supposed seventeen-year-old."

Isabel waved as she wandered in, mocha in hand. "Morning!" A sundress caught her eye and she pulled it off the rack to study it.

"Hey, Isabel. Oh, that'd look cute on you. Or Buffy." Parker looked around, but didn't see the younger blonde-- probably trying on clothes by now. "How goes it?"

"You think? I'd like to get a few new things for the summer. And I haven't met Buffy yet. I suppose I'll run across her one of these days." Isabel shrugged, "It goes well. Although I'm getting antsy waiting for the workshops to start. I've been reduced to reading trashy romance novels."

"Definitely. Strawberry is your color, I remember your prom gown. Try it on, at least." Parker grinned. "Angelica Desmesnes? Or someone else?"

Pretend Aeryn ever checks her E-mail. It happened to be good timing as she has shopping to do.

Parker's expression on seeing Aeryn walk in is very bzuh? but she recovers well. "Hey. Here to see what's up?"

"You don't want to know," she explains, which isn't an explanation but it's the best anyone's going to get.

"I really don't," Parker agreed immediately, sipping her latte. "I'm just waiting for the situation comedy potential to unfold and reveal itself. How have you been? Needed to kill any newbies yet?"
