There are refreshments besides beer, fortunately, if you just want to bum around and take in whatever music might get played onstage today. Soda and potato chips, mostly. Jono does not have the gourmet finesse of his husband.

Probably. Either way, Jono was making his way over, doing his damnedest to look welcoming even while on fire. It wasn't as easy as it sounded, but he had plenty of practice.

If nothing else, the fire distracted Xanthippe from all her awkward.

Of course, it meant she forgot to pretend she wasn't blunt as hell, too.
