The seats at the bar weren't as comfortable as the lounge, and Adam wanted to get away from Brooke anyway, so he got himself a beer and then took a seat in the lounge.

It looked like a better place to people watch, too. He felt like he had an itch to scratch even more than usual, so he was hoping to spot some hot small town girls around.

So, Flick was being difficult. That was nothing new but Gwendolyn had patience and she had time. She found her way to the bar and immediately veered away from the actual bar area. She didn't want to rub elbows with people she thought beneath her.

Instead, she took a seat on the cushy lounge seats, crossing her long legs easily and settling in. She thought maybe she'd call Flick's phone or maybe she'd just find him and surprise him.

For now, she was just trying to shake the feeling of a little more keyed up than usual while drinking her water.

Hey, here was someone who was most likely beneath her! But who also couldn't resist a pretty face. And usually thought pretty faces shouldn't be able to resist him.

He got out of his seat and put on his best smile, and ambled over. "Hi there."
