The totes moddable concessions being offered were a mix of typical carnival food and more exotic options to suit the theme. One stand was offering shots of straight maple syrup.

Arthur's eyebrows went up. "Thank you for the advice," he said. "I did notice something awry about the bed the last time I was here..."

Quinn rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure her manager is covering for her," she intimated. "Are you in a suite or a regular room? You could probably get an upgrade if you complain."

"Presidential Suite," Arthur supplied. Not much to upgrade from from there. "I haven't seen our maid yet, though. But at least the room seems to be living up to its reputation so far."

"Priestly," Arthur greeted, with the kind of contained exasperation of someone who remembered how annoying you were, but had not encountered it recently. "Nothing's hanging, thank you for asking."

Priestly couldn't help but smirk faintly at that. "Nothing at all, huh?" He found a clear spot to perch nearby as he ate his funnel cake. "How's the princing going?"

He'd mellowed an eensy bit on the political pontificating, thankfully.

Arthur shot him an amused, mildly befuddled look. It'd been a while since he'd had a full blast of Priestly, indeed. "Princing?" he asked.

It'd been awhile since anyone had had a full blast of Priestly. Well, anyone outside of downtown Manila, anyway.

He took a large bite of funnel cake, and proceeded to speak with his mouth full. "You know, doing your princely thang."

It'd really been awhile since he'd been home.
