Dimitri would be happy to know that Adrian had left the kitten at home, where it was probably using more of his stuff as scratching posts.

"I honestly thought you might have been joking about this," he said.

"I honestly didn't think you'd show," Dimitri replied. "No cat guard with you today?"

"Somehow I thought it would cramp my style here. Being in a pool hall kind of does that already," he admitted.

Dimitri expected Adrian to light up and get the place smokey as hell in no time, thus finding his style once again. "Not a fan of the game?"

Tully decided to take Dimitri up on the open invite over the radio. He'd never actually met Dimitri, but he decided he wouldn't let that get in the way of having a good time.

Though it did make it harder to locate the host, when he came in.

Of the people left on the island, Dimitri was probably most likely to be noticed, given his height. Taking note of all who entered, he sent a nod of greeting in Tully's direction, wanting to be polite.

Woah, holy crap. Tall guy. "Hey, you the guy on the radio last night?"

"One of them," Dimitri replied. "Did you have a problem with the broadcast?" This was another reason Dimitri didn't approve of gossip.

Shelley walked in, tossed her hands in the air and yelled, "Rack me!"

Everything out of her mouth was always a surprise, and still Dimitri was smiling at his roommate with ease. "What's your game, Shelley?"

"I thought you said we were going to play pool?" She looked around, confused.

Oh Shelley. She really was a special girl. "We are...I only meant to ask how you wanted to play."

"Very nice," Fred said. "Thought you'd be a natural, boss."

He actually had a nice shirt on. Who knew they made blue dress shirts that big?

"Ah, not really up to my ability yet, but I'm working on it," Dimitri answered, twirling the cue in his hand. "Takes time to get past the rust."

"I get that," Fred said. "I ain't played in a long time myself. Keep breaking the damn cues."

More of an anger problem, not a strength thing.

"Sounds like we should all watch out when you go for a shot," Dimitri replied, wondering if he ought to warn everyone to avoid standing opposite Fred.

Kyle had come for another round of Space Invaders at the arcade (how he spent his free time was his own deal), but when he saw the group playing pool - which, amazingly, did exist in the galaxy far, far away - he decided to join them. It had been a while since he played this exact same game that somehow existed with the same name across space and time. Seriously, guys, what the hell.

"Are you playing for anything interesting?" Kyle asked.

"So far for whatever you're offering," Dimitri informed him, wondering if Tasha was right about taking all the guardian's money.

"In that case, I think I'll play for fun," Kyle said. "I wouldn't want to knock some friendly playing out of whack with greed."

"Friendly works best up until everyone knows who the mark is," Dimitri considered, wondering just how much Shelley knew about this game after all.
