Now, Turtle Wexler could hold her own in a kitchen if she had to, especially if it was simple stuff like mac'n'cheese or grilled cheese or generally anything with cheese involved. Turtle snorted a little with a smirk. "All the help I can get," she said. "Because Pop-Tarts, you know. So difficult to make. I could probably use some assistance in eating them, though."

She held out a plate, urging it toward Layla. "Yeah?"

Elle was grumpy and a little confused that Rose was nowhere to be found, but she'd called and left a message so really, what else could she do?

Plus she was distracted by the smell of toasting Pop-Tarts.

"Ooh, can I have some?"

She was all for having/experiencing as many things as she possibly could, just in case she went home sometime and never came back.

"Pretty well," Elle said, breaking off a piece of Pop-Tart and popping it into her mouth. "Oh, yum, s'mores!"

Someone had developed a fondness for s'mores, apparently. Yay, cabin life!
