Not as far as I can recall in canon off the top of my head, but That had been one of her favorite training scenarios! Really!

It would be totally uncool for Batman's (alternate universe) sidekick to indulge in a little schadenfreude here, right? Well. Uh. Shh.

It was hilarious when it was someone else subjected to this kind of thing for the first time. Tsk, Steph.

"Just so you know, it was a gremlin bite," Gert said as she made her way over to see Batman. "I don't usually steal parachutes from people on crashing planes."

But that was more an explanation than an excuse. The detention was pretty well-deserved. She got that.

"I know. I heard radio last week. And you clearly weren't yourself," Batman said. She was too eager to participate, even if it was in a completely selfish way. "That's why I'm willing to make you an offer."

For the record, this is a direct follow up to last week's class where the students left a plane in range of a desert island. That has no impact on the class itself, Batman just enjoys following the narrative.

Next week's class will be celebrating their return from the desert island.
