Clinic Hours

Lisa slinks into the Clinic. Her last three times here have been rather traumitizing, first she made psycho_jackass grow an abnormally large amount of body hair, then she was faced with the jackass new Clinic Security, and then a student who was passed out on the floor.

To keep her mind off of her troubles, she makes a new bulletin board.

Angelus walks into the clinic with a small bundle held under one arm. Anyone looking out into the hallway prior to him walking through the clinic doors might have noticed him primping a bit. Outfit is black jeans, blue button-down shirt with the collar open to at least three buttons.

He walks in and looks around, trying to assess if Cuddy's there, if she's busy, and, if the answer to both is yes, where he could be out of the way until she's done.

Lisa is sitting at the desk, staring at a piece of paper and tapping a pencil against it. She stands up to walk around and stretch her legs, staring out the window. The clinic is silent around her; there is no one else here at the moment.

Seeing that she's not busy, Angelus steps up to the counter. He tries to catch her eye. "Hey."

Lisa turns around, and smiles, but it quickly slides off her face. She can't believe what Parker has told her about Angelus, but she's naturally a bit suspicious.

"Hi, how are you doing? Healed up okay?"

Barbossa walks past the poster, stops and reads it.

He throws back his head and laughs.

Lisa chuckles at Barbossa, and grins.

"You know it's true! Cam and I barely got back to the dorms the other night, and I felt like my head was run over by a truck. Not that I was complaining at the time... of course. And I would probably do it again."

"Ye just got to be used to it, is all," Barbossa says.

"Captain Morgan did drop off some of his best fer us, though, and no mistake. Normally it be watered down a bit."

Alanna wanders into the clinic for her after school work and spots the poster that's been pinned up and laughs.

"Lisa, hey, nice picture!" She nods towards the guy she doesn't recognize and sits down out of the way.

"Thanks. I figured it would be... topical."

Lisa smiles and then turns her attention back to Angelus.

Lisa gave him a soft smile, and approached him slowly, putting her arms around his shoulders gently.

"You're a good guy. Don't let other people tell you different."

"Thanks, Lisa," he put one arm around her lightly, as though afraid she might break or run off if he tried anything more than that. "It means a lot that people here are willing to give me a second chance."

"Everyone deserves a second chance. I'm glad I'm not the only person who is willing to give you one."

She pulled back just an inch to look in his eyes. "I'm not hurting you, am I?"

"You, Grissom, even Dr. House - it's been really great," he caught her looking at him. "I - uh - no. You're not. It's nice."

"And moving past the double meanings possible in that comment - " he grinned at her. "So, if somebody wanted to see you in a different setting. You know, outside of a men's room, might there be a place for that? Like study hall, or the coffee shop in town?"

"I do occasionally leave the men's room...

Okay, this is where it gets unnaturally uncomfortable again because I'm bad with people. I'd love to hang out with you outside of the clinic, but don't you have a girlfriend? I mean, will she be mad? Maybe we could all go out together..."

"Have a..." Angelus's mind rapidly cycled through the list of possible names he could be connected with. Buffy surely had to be out of the running. As did Belthazor. He decided to stick with non-specific truths until he could figure out where she was coming from. "Uh, no? I'm not dating anybody. Sort of, you know, being with some people but nothing serious. Not since... well I guess you could call it my last relationship. Why?"

"Oh, okay. I just knew you had a date... to Homecoming. I just figured..."
