I am not kidding.

Seeing my dad's pension plan in the OSSTF I would willingly participate in a minor genocide or holocaust to get into it.

Yeah I have heard nothing but good things. If I were to consider joining the OSSTF that would be one of my biggest requirements is that we be allowed to join that pension plan.

Assuming you're eligible (contract staff, who cannot work at UW for longer than 24 months, are not), have you looked at the UW pension plan? It may also be worth exploring whether the Teachers' Pension Plan includes post-retirement medical, drug and dental benefits.

I have in fact looked at the Pension Plan and am paying into it. The Teachers plan does include retirement benefits. At least according to a few retired teacher that I know.
