We have tanks...recognizers...light cycles, light runners.

All run on energy.

Light cycles? Runners?

I could use some sort of visual reference.

Also this energy...is it some sort of limitless type of energy?

I wouldn't know how to provide a visual reference. I'm not an artist--I can't draw.

There is limitless energy within the city. Once you move into the outlands...only runners can work. Recognizers fly, so there is more stored energy there.

Hm. Perhaps there's something in the library. Where you existed, was called the Grid, yes?

What were their purpose? These light cycles and runners? I can probably guess with the Recognizers.

[Yuri already knew Alexei was in Luceti, so when he finally hears him speak out over the journal ...

... well, all the entry gets is a dry look before he flips to a new page, ignoring it entirely. Yuri's been in Luceti so long that, as long as Alexei stays away from him and the others living with him, he really doesn't care anymore. He's too busy needing a hobby, anyway.

So yes. He's noted your existence, Alexei. Something like that. Congrats, I guess.]

My father invented a device that allows me to phase through solid objects. Unfortunately it hasn't shown up here yet.

I've...never heard of such a device capable of doing that. What does it look like?

He made it for personal use, so it looks something like a belt. It creates a field that affects myself and whatever I am wearing. Though, technically it works through a combination of technology and magic, so I don't know if it's quite what you were after.

I see. Combining technology and magic is not an uncommon practice in my world, but never been used in a way that you've described its function.

I can imagine the possibilities that sort of device could lead to. [like sneaking into an enemy base undetected] No side effects?

Clown Copter. [Yeah. It's boss.]

[...what?] I know what clowns look like, but a copter?

Helicopter? Propellers? Flies around? Yeesh, you can't be that thick!

Whatever a helicopter is, they are non-existent in my world. Propellers give me a better visual but...why a clown?

[The whole 'war machines' thing is a bit off putting, but she won't voice it.]

What do you mean by 'interesting'?

Technology that is unique to your world. It can be anything you feel like sharing.

I can't think of anything. Technology is very different in each world. [She sighs.] Have you heard of cars?

All the more reason I'm curious to hear what exist in other worlds that are common everyday things to them. And no, I have not.
