[The whole 'war machines' thing is a bit off putting, but she won't voice it.]

What do you mean by 'interesting'?

Technology that is unique to your world. It can be anything you feel like sharing.

I can't think of anything. Technology is very different in each world. [She sighs.] Have you heard of cars?

All the more reason I'm curious to hear what exist in other worlds that are common everyday things to them. And no, I have not.

Hm. [She frankly can't see why this would matter to anyone, but fine.] Cars are transportation machines people manually operate from a sitting position. One needs an official document in order to use one and they are the primary source of transportation in my world.

A transporting vehicle. What do they run on?

[There might be sounds of pages being flipped through as he looked through the book he had taken from the library. He vaguely remember flipping pass something called a car in it.]

Most run on gasoline, created through various means normally involving oil to fuel it. There are others than run on cleaner fuels and some are being engineered to run on electricity.

These are all different sources of energy you're telling me. Are they created individually, or through one source?

I'm no expert in them, so I couldn't tell you for sure, but I'm positive they are.

Positive that they're what? Which are you positive with?

That they are created individually. If they were all made through the same source they wouldn't be different after all.

It's possible. My world is dependent on one source of energy alone and it is altered through formulas.

Fortunate. My world wouldn't last on one single source, but the other sources make up for it.

If only people cared enough to look for other sources in my world to do something like that. We may have been able to manage with one, but there is a serious energy crisis people have failed to notice in the recent years.

It's less caring and more greed. Other energy sources means more ways to profit from them. I would feel pity for the situation in your world, but frankly thats what you get when you place all your money on one horse.

Heh. It's difficult to force change when it's a technology that has been used since ancient times. Regardless of intentions, if we don't act it's the end for that world.
