I know that you didn't mean to upset Kara. All that I ask is that in the future that anything that has to do with you, Angel and/or Faith remained locked from Kara and well me. Because it's a bit awkward for me to know who my father-in-law is with, and it's just not something Kara or I wish to think about. We're pretty comfortable being oblivious. I hope you're doing okay.

Buffy was glad when she read the letter that Harry wasn't also mad at her, and she totally understood about not wanting to know about who was sleeping with who... whom? Who? Whatever.

She'd be more careful. She hoped. Right now wasn't the best time to be planning for the future for her, but she'd try. Hey, wasn't that the whole reason she'd done her best to do a little damage control in the first place?

I am angry with you, but it doesn't mean I will never speak to you again. All I need is some time to deal with the situation with Kara and Faith. Once things are settled here, I will be in touch, and we can work this out. In the future, I ask that you keep Kara out of my personal business. She honestly doesn't want to know. That said, I did speak with her about Faith. You were right that I should talk to her, so thank you for that.

She read the letter a few times because part of her wanted to shout "A-ha!" at Angel for being right. That, of course, would've been pretty immature, though, so she kept the "I was right" thoughts to herself.

There was the "I am angry with you" part, which made her angry, confused, sad, and angry again. So she decided to ignore it for now before she went insane with completely irrational thoughts like before.

There was the "Love, Angel" part which put a smile on her face, even if it lasted only a little bit. She wanted to talk to him, figure stuff out, and all of that, but she didn't. It wouldn't be good to talk to him yet. Besides, how many times had she gone chasing after Angel anyway? If he wasn't lying about him loving her, then he could damn well chase after her for a change.

Plus, Wesley's dad had handed her the worst news. Right now, she felt like fighting the world, the vamps, the demons, all of it just wasn't worth it anymore. She'd get herself out of it (with a little help from her friends, she hoped), but not now.
