Wow, busy few days coming up. I just managed to sneak under the wire and get the flyers for the next Iron Lord Promotions show (Northern Oak and Aonia at the Whitby Friendship Rowing Club on July 27th, if anyone is interested!) from the printers this morning, before the chaos begins... so I need to go round Whitby this afternoon sticking those in ( Read more... )

Morpheus Rising, eh? Another band brought to me via the Wyrd Ways Rock Show.

But do not, of course, book that show for the weekend around 22nd September. A certain Mr M. Walkyier should have been told that!

Too late, unfortunately - that gig will be September 21, because that was the only bloody Friday the venue had available that month. Yes, I have already apologised to Glyn, and yes, I will be at Warhorns on the Saturday. Believe me nobody is more annoyed than me at the necessity of the clash, but I doubt we'll take much trade away from Warhorns and I can't see they'll take that much away from us given the disparity in genres...

It's all taking off! You'll be managing bands before you know it :) poster's looking cool. By all means bring me a couple and I'll try and get them put up in York!

Speaking of York...what's the plan for tomorrow, lass? I shall be around and flailing slightly as I try to finish my article for Diabolique, but I am at your disposal if you would like me to meet you or owt. xx

*laughs* Why, who was on there that you miss? (I'm actually hoping one day to run my OWN record label, but that's a bit in the future as yet!)

D-Rok was interesting... guess theyve been gone dor years tho...

I just liked the idea of metal being "officially" part of the warhammer hobby...

Northern Oak were pretty good when they played over here a few weeks ago. Quite impressed by the flautist actually being part of the band rather than just stuck on at the last minute for decoration.
