So I've decided that it's a really good thing that I didn't go up north for school...even in Waco there's snow/sleet today, and it's not pleasant at all.

I survived last semester, practically in one piece. I also had a great Christmas break overall, and I am not excited to be back at school. I had some problems getting registered because Baylor is stupid, but everything seems to be going pretty smoothly now, and I'm hoping it will continue on that course ( Read more... )

I was glad to be home, and I still am, but the novelty is already starting to wear off and I'm getting kind of annoyed. I just hope that Christmas doesn't turn out to be a repeat of the summer. I don't think there is any danger of it being quite so bad, but it's certainly taking a turn for the worse.

Thanksgiving was even better than I expected...it wasn't too eventful, but it was great to see my family and the friends that were in town. I ended up eating probably enough food to last me a month, but that always happens when I go home (especially for Thanksgiving I guess). So now I'm euphoric. It's amazing how small things, like a nice walk and some fencing and friends can make me so much happier. Maybe I'm bipolar or something. That could explain a lot.
