In the continuing adventures of the most poorly timed roofers imaginable, I woke up this morning with a crane right outside my window.

Ugh. Was awoken at 7.30 this morning to the THUMP-THUMP of not-so-little feet as the roofers started ripping all the shingles off our unit in the apartment complex. By 10.00 the patio, walkway and shrubbery were covered in about 3" of roofing material and my roommate and I were huddled on the couches downstairs praying for the noise to stop ( Read more... )

I saw Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol tonight with the fam.

Basically, I wanted to see this movie for three reasons: 1) Simon Pegg is hilarious, 2) Jeremy Renner, and 3) Brad Bird because The Incredibles is legitimately one of my favorite movies in the sense that I can watch it as many times as I want to and it never fails to be entertaining ( Read more... )
