I am sorry we both have to deal with this... It drives me crazy when they all discuss the sermon from Sunday (6 of them go to the same Cathedral), their Country music drives me up a wall... but I let them be... This went a little too far.
We just have to keep ourselves in check... it is probably better for a little piece of my soul to die than a big chunk of their body *repeats to herself*

Really, I don't mind the music so much, it is more the volume... and getting yelled at for turning it down when they are away from their desk for lunch. All being fair in Love and War, I will occasionally leave my Computer Radio on the Opera / Classical station.... and lock my keyboard.

Yeah, and it seems that some of them are a little more open minded than others, I just got an IM asking me about -how- a sex change works. I am a little loathe to explain via IM, but at least there is one person who may not be as stuffy as the rest. And yeah, if it gets the rest of them to shut the heck up, all the better.

Back in Pittsburgh I worked with a post-op MTF. She had such horror stories of workplace discrimination at other places. Fortunately, the company we worked at together was 20% LBGT... unfortunately she was a wacko! *grin* Anyway, I enjoyed being fully out at work. I miss it!!! It's so much harder to be out in the workplace when you have a husband and kids. People just assume I'm straight and my daily life doesn't say otherwise. Oh well, if there's ever a reason for them to know or for me to defend the community, I will.

Hey, that's an idea... why don't we frame one of the pictures of me in fall drag and see how long until they notice...
