BPAl, Orchids, Bookcrossing, and other obsessions

lets see... if i can work in pets, yarn and one or two other things i pretty much have my obsessions covered.......

I am now up to eight "caught books"!  Its a pretty bad ratio of books released to books "caught" but still i am doing a happy dance. ("caught" means someone actually made an entry on the web page, i know most of the books have been

The minute BPAL and comics get mixed, I'm in trouble.

A few years ago, I had over a hundred orchids. Now I have seven due to hurricanes, theft, a move, and other bad things to part me from my lovelies. If your bored, take a look at some pictures. This guy is small, about two inches. The pictures are macro moded so it's deceiving.

BPAL isn't something I'm likely to get addicted to, since I don't have much of a sense of smell on the best of days... But I'm all understanding of the plant obsession. Violets and orchids are a sideline for me, I love insectivores most of all. The rest started when I inherited my grandmother's houseplants upon her passing... Check out what I have currently blooming. The orchid has been temporarily moved to a window from the growlight shelf because the flower spike is so tall, it was getting crushed in the lightbulbs! I have to re-adjust that shelf down a bit; my nepethes is vining up in the bulbs too!

Darn it! I had to go and join Bookcrossing now! I couldn't resist any longer! ;) Rennies are voracious readers... Once I get my first set of books ready for release, I'll let them go at renfairs and see how they do.
