If you outfit your home with LED smart bulbs (they're cheaper than you'd think), you could flick your lights on/off from your phone in your bed. Even if said bed were, say, in Prague. Or Budapest. This has happened.

Oh, it's not about them being cool...it's that they're no longer functional when switched OFF. So the minute you swath the house with them, guess what the kids will suddenly start to do?!??!!?
