It was up to 90 degrees last week. Melting away the 10” of snow we got the week before. Idk man I just work here.

My Minnesotan twins were upset about it. It’s SO HOT, they complained. I miss winter.

I was so proud it was almost unbearable. So now I’m being unbearable about it.

It’s back to 30s and snow again today.

I have no evidence that my children know how to turn the lights off.

So I implemented the chore chart. Yesterday was the first week. I revised things some this week- added a few things, reduced some others. I told them that it can always be changed if there is a problem with it. I listen to feedback.

My saul and my Raffie are going on a week-long trip with grandparents today. I woke up at 6 and panicked, not sure if it was 8:30 and they’d already left. I thought I’d heard them. I got up and wandered around the house.

The twins still often ask for snuggles in bed at night. Tonight it was Naomi.

So I am up on the top bunk now with a small head resting on my chest. My pretty girl is fast asleep.

Meanwhile saul had to kick out Bella. She followed me into the room. She has a tendency to walk all over saul - in his bed or anywhere else really.

At dinner.

Saul: *spears a sausage for his plate*
Isaac: *holding out a forestalling hand* halt, traveler.

Isaac: that’s not an insult.

Dinner is weird.

At Trader Joe’s, buying wine. I am given the receipt.

Me: *giving the receipt to saul, solemnly* Saul, take this. It is very important. Keep it with you always. Guard it with your life.

I like surprising my kids with foods and drinks that they like. Yesterday, I had to go to the Jew store for chicken bones, because no one else sells just carcasses, and I am making matzo ball soup stock. That's where I got the cream soda.
