Michael and I went to target so I could buy an entire gallon of glue. What can I say, Halloween approaches.
As we were checking out I was distracted by a fussing baby in a cart. I left the checking out to Michael and talked to the baby to calm it down. I like babies.

Tiny grasses
This year our front yard was half dead patches. I’ve killed chunks of it so many ways over the last few years and never got new grass to stick. My neighbors just got a perfect sod lawn last year that they actually kept happily alive. I felt guilty for being a blight on the neighborhood.
I bought grass seed and put it down and put water on it.

Today I read Torah and Saul and I studied for his bar mitzvah. He learns prayers very fast, which makes up for how slow he learns Torah. He’s also such a pretty child, honestly. I am very proud.

Batteries
Today I dropped off all our used-up batteries at the hazardous waste disposal place. I hate batteries so this made me happy.
Me: *snapping michael* this is the face of a woman who no longer possesses any dead batteries
Michael: the batteries in my mouse just died! You must have stolen its energy
