[Let's see... What did Illya like to eat, again? Kiritsugu can't prepare anything like the Einzberns could, but she seems to be from a world where she left them early on. He prepared a grocery list, so this isn't as hard as it could be, but he's still new to this.]

[There's something about that man that seemed out of place in a grocery store. ...Well, not because he's a man, necessarily, nor because he favored dark-colored clothing, but just... The air that he seems to carry? He just looked so serious, and there's something conservative about his movement that hinted on a degree of efficiency that a normal person wouldn't have.

She doubts that she could startle him, but let's make sure not to anyway. She scoots closer, but also purposefully made her steps heavier and louder. He should hear her coming.]

Excuse me, mister! [She sees the list that he's carrying, but maybe he doesn't know where everything is yet?] Are you looking for something in particular?

Hm?

[Kiritsugu's attention immediately focuses on the person approaching him. Despite making her presence obvious, that isn't enough to lower Kiritsugu's wariness. Not after having seen Servants and Kotomine around.]

...Just the basics.

[Because that's all he knows how to use, really.]

[High-strung... Well she can't fault him, but she does wonder if he's already met enemies or unpleasant people here, since his arrival. She's been in town for quite a while now, and that man was definitely a new face.]

Hm... Like what? A lot could be used, even if you just want to make something simple. Would you like some help looking around?

That's right! It was a bit disorienting at first [mainly because her perfect timing made it so that she gained consciousness just as her vampire ~son~ was about to chop her head off ._. anyway NOT GOING TO STOP HER FROM SOUNDING CHIPPER NOW!], but I recovered quickly enough. I'm feeling fine, but I also feel like I've gotten out of shape during my absence. I should probably get to do some exercise soon! What about you, Nina? How are you?

Mm, I were, but it seemed like droning is just that; I don't remember much of the last two weeks, other than having really vague recollections of doing very ordinary things. I don't feel affected any other way. My body feels a bit out of shape, if anything, so I'll probably go out for a walk and do some grocery shopping later. I'm really okay, so please don't worry!

Bonjou, Ciel! What a lovely name! And you are a teacher as well? Magnifique!

...Though I do regret hearing about your droning. Forgive me for getting excited, s'il vous plait; I am new.

H-huh? Oh, hehe, merci beaucoup! Oui, c'est bien ça. I teach French as a second language during the school year, actually! And it's very nice to meet someone else who's also fluent, miss. Are you French, if I may ask?

That's okay. I'm back to myself now, so there's no problem. May I ask for your name, miss...?

Yes, I was born in France, but I have moved to Sinnoh where I am currently a Gym Leader.

Bien sûr! My name is Fantina, and I am to be primarily teaching the art of dance. I have never taught another, but I say to myself I will do it.

Sinnoh? I've never heard of it before. Where is it on the world? But aha, me too, so it's a pleasure to meet you, madame Fantina! [She sure sounded classy! But yes, it is genuinely nice, to meet someone from the same native country.] Goodness, that does sound wonderful. Will you be teaching at the school because of the town, or giving out lessons for everybody willing to learn out of your own volition?

[ Going out on walks is something Nadeko likes to do - even though she doesn't like crowds and tries to avoid people, it's nice to just be walking and out and about. But then she manages to spot someone familiar and is willing to make an exception to the avoiding people deal for that. So Nadeko stops for a moment and then takes a few steps towards Ciel, quickly making a bow. ]

G-good day..

[Blink

Wave! She'll come over, smiling cheerfully. This is the first time she's seen Nadeko out casually ever since Killfield, so meeting the younger girl under much more relaxed circumstances is a very welcome change.]

Good afernoon, Sengoku-san! [She'll bow back too okay she;s no Japanese but she likes the custom...] It's nice to see you again. Are you out for a walk and to get some fresh air?

[ Nadeko can agree on this being much better circumstances.. And that smile is enough to make her smile a little in return too, the nervousness fading just a little. ]

Hmm, it's good to see you again too.. and I was just taking a small walk through town. It's nice weather out, after all.

[Setting the right mood and atmosphere by establishing your own can go a long way!]

Aha, it's nice weather out every day in Mayfield, but it's true that this doesn't make it any less enjoyable. How are you? It's been a while!

"There is a church in this town? Which god or goddess is it for, or is it one to the 27 true runes?"

"It was tradition at home to go to a church before every major task and... Getting used to this place seems to count as a major task."

That's right. [...27 Runes? The Irish and German used those, but that scales back to Norse and Celtic myths, if she's remembering correctly. Or would this be from another world altogether? Hm... May be best to give the whole briefing/] The Church of Salvation follows the Christian faith. It's a monotheist religion, with the Lord and our Father Jesus Christ as our God and Savior. [It felt a bit strange just saying the whole thing; she really wasn't cut out to be a preacher.] This place is certainly tasking, but if I may ask, miss... Which world are you from, and which Gods and Goddesses were familiar to you?

"I am from the Zexen Confederation of.. Well... Just.. The world I guess? I was not aware of the existence of others till I woke up here in all honesty. We follow our Goddess who is our one true deity, but other nations follow other things. There are also the 27 true runes that created and regulate our world but... That is a much longer and more complicated story."

I see... So it's nothing like how things work on Earth, the name of the planet here. You must be from a completely different plane altogether. I've never heard of the Zexen Confederation, and while the concepts of Runes isn't alien to me, they probably still mean different things to us, even if the number 27 matches. Have you arrived recently, miss?
