H-huh? Oh, hehe, merci beaucoup! Oui, c'est bien ça. I teach French as a second language during the school year, actually! And it's very nice to meet someone else who's also fluent, miss. Are you French, if I may ask?
That's okay. I'm back to myself now, so there's no problem. May I ask for your name, miss...?
Sinnoh? I've never heard of it before. Where is it on the world? But aha, me too, so it's a pleasure to meet you, madame Fantina! [She sure sounded classy! But yes, it is genuinely nice, to meet someone from the same native country.] Goodness, that does sound wonderful. Will you be teaching at the school because of the town, or giving out lessons for everybody willing to learn out of your own volition?
Hmm...well, if you have not heard of it, I believe it is safe to say it does not exist in your world. Unless, are you familiar with Pokémon by any chance?
[She pauses thoughtfully. Her cheeriness persists, even through the "not the same world" thing.] Ah, non, it was decided for me. Heureusement, it is something I understand very well.
Eh, êtes-vous certaine? I do know France, so maybe Sinnoh could be a remote region in a country that I'm unfamiliar with? ...As for... Pokémon? Hm, I've met a boy who had them! They're a bit like familiars, aren't they? I don't think they exist in my world, but I can understand the concept of what they are, and I have seen some with my own eyes, yes.
[And she'll follow that up! It's still pretty interesting, mO_Om] Hehe, it seems that we both got lucky, in that aspect. School won't start again until September though, but you can use that time to get better used to the town. Speaking of which, how have you been adapting so far, madame?
Oui, je suis complètement certain. And they are! They are allies, partners, and friends all in one. They are impressionnant, oui?
Surprisingly, not much has come to shock me, thanks to what I remember happening in my home last. Let us just say distortion of time and space was present, so I simply assumed I was in an alternate universe to begin with. It seems I was not far off, though the cause is different.
That does sound extraordinary. Have you been told that things are given back to us here, with the passage of time? So hopefully, you'll be able to have them by your side again soon!
[She quietens down a bit to listen to the explanation.] My, so there is a power like this in your world? Traveling through dimensions isn't unheard of in my world too, but it's so extremely rare that coming here was still a big surprise. That force in your world probably isn't responsible, however; Mayfield has proven itself many times to be very powerful. Have you been told the basics?
Eh? Vraiment? I had not been told such a thing! I would feel much more at ease with them by my side.
I had thought it impossible myself, mais non, a man named Cyrus set out to create a new universe--fighting against his organization was the last thing I remember. The more I stay, the more I realize, however, that this is not his ideal universe. It is something else entirely, I am sure. As for the basics, yes, the people here are most friendly. I find it difficult to be in low spirits when everyone is so helpful in spite of the situation.
Habituellement, after a big shift. People would receive something from the mail containing physical possessions, supernatural abilities, or even pets. Unfortunately, major events do tend to be cruel in town, so please be careful when that time comes back.
I see... Goodness, that sounds like a lot to take in. But no, that man most likely has nothing to do with this. Everyone has been kidnapped, so to speak, but it's true that having other people here makes living easier. Would you have any more questions about this town, madame Fantina? Maybe I can help answer?
...Though I do regret hearing about your droning. Forgive me for getting excited, s'il vous plait; I am new.

Bien sûr! My name is Fantina, and I am to be primarily teaching the art of dance. I have never taught another, but I say to myself I will do it.
