charge card?

Nov 13, 2007 02:09

We used to live in the US and now we are in India. I was wondering if there are charge cards out there that do not charge fees for intl transactions, preferably with no annual fee as well. Or have people had any luck getting the fees waived or taken off?

It seems in the last year or two all of the cards have added fees. Good luck in finding one that doesn't. If you do, please post it!

I need to be able to use a charge card in stores. Do people take paypal that are offline/ brick and mortar stores?

You should look into global banks because this is their specialty.

We have HSBC, so as long as we find a HSBC, it doesn't matter what currency we pull our cash out it - we only pay the exchange rate.

just be careful with them, they also ate my pinpas when i went from Republic of Ireland to Northern Ireland on a day visit. Obviously this is a terrible thing to do.

I use Capital One and they do not charge international exchange fees. It's why I use them. If your credit is decent enough you should be able to get a Cap One card with no annual fees.
