He always mentions how little he sees of HYDE, goes to his live but doesn't say hi? There's something kind of melancholy about his last two sentences, I hope it's just me but it makes me a little sad. Like they grew apart.

No no no, he didn't say hi to DAIGO, not HYDE.
I thought it was clear form the context, but I guess it's not? He was just being his sarcastic self, hinting at how he didn't want to embarrass DAIGO after witnessing him so embarrassingly(?) absorbed in the live.

Yes, the sarcasm at the end was very obvious in Japanese. I tried to give a literal translation, but I guess that didn't translate the nuance well enough in English. My apologies. X'D
