I've been gluten free for about a week. It's hard to discuss this with anyone because most people think the whole gluten thing is just another passing diet fad, or I'm just a crazy hippy over-obsessing about my diet. Send this info along to mom. I can't reply to her anonymous comments. It could also be sugar. Gluten effects everybody, whether they notice it or not, and I think I'm a particularly sensitive person. I could live feeling dull and tired and foggy but I don't really want to. And the one-two punch of carbs and sugar (and fried foods. Donuts!) doesn't help either.

It could also be the sugar that affects you. Many things with gluten also have sugar (donuts, pastry,etc) Josie and I saw a movie about the affects of too much sugar in the diet. It was like too much McDonalds, not good. Hope you are feeling better.
