About the Deathly Hallows.
Sadly, I have to announce that yet another era has come to an end. Tonight at 2.25am I said goodbye to Harry and his friends. We grew up together, and although I never really liked Harry, who was one of my least favorite characters of the series, I cried when I closed the book. The rest behind the cut.

So, I'm back from Germany. Yes, I was on a trip and it lasted one week; I've seen Berlin and Bremen, where I lived with a German family. It was pretty cool, although a bunch of old ladies, who I was traveling with, kept driving me crazy. Oh, I forgot to mention that the average age of my companions was 50/60 ( Read more... ) -
Emotionally Drained
After months and months of loving POTC, analyzing every bloody scene and getting attached to Sparrabeth I finally find strength to say "That's it, I've had it! I've had it with wobbly-legged, rum-soaked PIRATES!". This movie and this pairing left me tired and vulnerable and I think I'm done with it all, at least for some time.

Aladdin and Jack Sparrow- the cleverest trickster of them all.
Today I watched Aladdin for the first time in years. I was incredibly surprised by the amount of scenes/ lines/ moments which bore striking resemblance to POTC. Of course, I am aware that TnT were involved in both movies, but it's stunning how much alike those movies are ( Read more... )
