Well I am at college and I guess it isn't all that I expected. I wanted to fit in more than I am. It seems somewhat like high school, which sucks. Maybe it is because class hasn't started yet, so I am still keeping my hopes up that it will get better. Caitlin, my roommate, is great. She's very nice. We also formed a bond with our neighbor Lauren.

Whether you went away, traveled, took a year off, or laminated a drawing of Joan and put it on Caitlin's bed, you'd question whether it was the right choice. Just enjoy dorm life. If you don't adapt, you can always transfer/take time off later.

You'll know the choice you made was a good one. Give it time, the loneliness will pass. College is an experience, whether it's good or bad, everyone has to go through with it. :)

I'm at Grand Valley.

All of the dances we are going to is great fun, but the ratio of girls to guys is like 6:1. So we definately want to go clubbing instead. Other than that, though, it seems like we don't do things as a group. It is either them or us. End of story.

You all better be on a lot so that I can talk to you and vent and do whatever I need to or else I may crack. And I shall get you my schedule eventually, John. I promise.
