This is starting to get to be an impressive list! Not all the books are properly listed (missing authors, etc), but I want to kick this back out for more ideas. It needs more language theory/program design. e.g. nothing in the list jumps out at me if I wanted to hand one to someone who didn't understand tail recursion. Ideas ( Read more... )

This idea was first formed after a thread on an internal mailing list. Before the thread wandered off and got lost it was about what people liked or didn't like about their college curriculum.
