My MFA program advisor has suggested I completely reenvision my novel, and now that I am past the nervous breakdown stage of my reaction to that suggestion, I'm actually thinking of ideas of how to do it. Jesus Christ, what the f--- is wrong with Clement?

I am going to miss having Rosh Hashanah off, but man, trying to write the stuff that I have due for school next week while watching the White Sox get 5 runs in the first inning (and not over yet!) is KILLING me.

Oh, my God. I have got to see The Paris Letter. A love affair gone wrong between Arvin Sloane and Lionel Luthor? What could be better? Who cares if all the reviews I've read are negative. Somehow, I have got to get down to New York this summer and get tickets.

I'm reading Murder in Greenwich, the book Mark Fuhrman wrote about the Martha Moxley murder, as "research" for my mystery novel. It's much more interesting than I expected. I just IMed Liz because (thanks to an ad in Slate), I just remembered that some guy I went to college with is going to be on the American version of the office. I knew this once, but apparently, the information fell out of my brain. Anyway, interesting that his bio doesn't mention Harvard.

I am a complete sucker for Wife Swap. ABC are geniuses with their new schedule of starting one show immediately after the previous show ends, because every week, even though I don't intend to, I end up watching Wife Swap after Alias.
