Well, all quiet on the job-hunt front.  As a result, I have the dumbest idea, but I'm really starting to entertain it...

I've always wanted to go to Fairmount, Indiana.  It's where James Dean grew up, and he's buried there and they have the big James Dean Museum.  Every Sept. 30 (the day he died) they have a big celebration - "James Dean Days."  ( Read more... )

Oh, man. After weeks of searching job listings and finding nothing that interests or me (or doesn't require 5 years experience) I've found a job that I really really really really really really want: Public Relations Coordinator for the High Museum of Art. Everybody pray for me that I at least get an interview; I WANT THIS JOB SO BAD!!!!!

Went to Kentucky over the weekend to be in Niccole's wedding. Weird being back in the Huntington area - Still a very depressing place. Wedding was really nice; had a good time. Nicci's new husband seems like a great guy and I think they're gonna be very happy.

The big news here is Venkman.  He's a six-month-old Border Collie mix! I didn't even have to do anything sneaky; Mom rescued him in White County last week.  He's really cute and VERY smart.  I think I'm gonna try to teach him to compete in Dog Agility; with some training I think he'd do really well.  The cats aren't too crazy about him, but they'll ( Read more... )
