1. Nor had I, but apparently with the increased amount of blood in the body, such things happen. I haven't seen it listed in any of the books, but my OB-GYN knew it, and some women on the pregnancy board have also been suffering from them. 2. Once I got into _Un Lun Dun_, it was TEH awesome. Getting past the first 50 pages was difficult. YMMV. _I am America_ was not nearly as cool as _America: The book_ ... but it had its moments.
Nosebleeds are quite common toward the end of pregnancy. Something about the increased volume of blood in the body and decreased thickness of the mucus membranes, or such. also: highly annoying.
