[Today is a rather important day for April. Today is the day of the only holiday celebrated back home, so you can bet she's gonna celebrate it. So she can be seen rushing around throughout the day, looking pretty determined

[April may not notice for some time, but at the edge of her vision, there is a teenaged girl standing quietly on the sidewalk. She is staring, unblinkingly, at the fire. And it doesn't seem as if this will change anytime soon.]

[evers_hacker]

[And April doesn't notice the girl and has her attention solely focused on the fire. Her electric dog, however, soon notices the girl and gives a small bark. Which causes his owner to blink and then look at the girl in question.] Ummm...

[Even if Yuki had heard that over the crackle of the fire, she wouldn't have responded. Though April isn't familiar with the girl, the stare Yuki is leveling isn't her normal one. She's a million miles away.]

[evers_hacker]

[Okay, April's feeling a bit creeped out, but it doesn't show. She instead furrows her eyebrows in confusion and raises her voice so that it can be heard. She sounds concerned and confused.] H-hey, is there something wrong?

[Her dog has now decided to move from his spot and walk up to Yuki, head tilted to the side in curiosity.]

[that one naked guy you met is baaaaack....fully clothed this time, though, with his face illuminated strangely by the flames]

What are you doing?

[Oh shi- oh wait he's wearing clothes now, that's good. Now he just looks kinda creepy with the light hitting his face like that.]

Ummm, t-today is the holiday that's celebrated back home and, um, so bonfires are lit...

[luckily, he quickly smiles and looks a lot less creepy]

Ah, a holiday? Please elaborate.

[shuffles around the fire]

[Okay, that's better. She gives him a friendly smile in return.]

It's, um, to celebrate something important that happened a few decades ago.

[numanstan]

[Fire instantly attracts everyone from a five block radius. Vince watches curiously from the sidewalk.]

Bit early, innit?

[April gives a confused look.]

No, I don't think so...it's October 7th today, right? [Sorry Vince, April has no idea about any other holidays orz]

That's what I mean! You're a whole month early for Guy Fawkes Night!

[And he is equally as ignorant. If he hasn't celebrated it, it obviously doesn't exist.]

Hatter pokes his head out the door and blinks at the little blazing bonfire April has going. He wanders out in full-on pajamas, a Popsicle in one hand.

"You didn't tell me we were boozing it up, mate, or I'd have been out here sooner. What's the occasion?"

He plops down next to Franklin the electric doggy, and gives him a pat on the head.

[Franklin gives Hatter a happy bark at the pat while April gives him a smile.] It's for the holiday that's celebrated back home!

Holiday, eh? Well, if it's a holiday involving alcohol, I'm willing to start a tradition. What're we celebrating?

[April gives a small laugh.] The alcohol is optional, but everybody back home drinks today anyway!

We're celebrating something important that happened a few decades ago.
