Hmm, the only really cool thing about the generally rather disappointing Batman: Gotham Knight is that David "Steel" McCallum plays Alfred. That and the first segment was quite nifty I suppose. The rest... pretty mediocre and not a patch on The Animatrix which it was essentially emulating. I was really looking forward to it as well.

I have such a man-crush on Grant Morrison.

It's a really strange world where I'm far more excited about the forthcoming Iron Man movie than the forthcoming Batman movie The Dark Knight.

I'm not entirely convinced Christopher Nolan quite gets Batman, and I say this as a lifelong fan and someone who very much enjoyed Batman Begins and loved how he made Batman actually scary in that film. ( Read more... )
