I had an appointment scheduled with my GP for July 18th, which happens to be a Friday. I wanted to reschedule to a day I'm not working, ie: a Monday or Tuesday. They had an availability for when I'm at Pennsic, but I'd be at Pennsic and wouldn't be able to make it

Typical. I always need to book my appointment with my GP 4 months in advance as well. Oh, Quebec, got to love it!

It's the same in Ont. too - it's the Canada wide doctor shortage. At least you have one: something like 2/5 people don't have one (and it'll only get worse in 2010-2012 with thousands retiring).
