Today's my first guitar lesson. Would you believe I'm terrified? When was the last time I tried learning something new in a formal setting like this? At least ten years. And god that makes me feel old.

It was a blast! I was nervous at first, but my teacher is cool. I can't wait to practice.

Yay for con trips! Have fun...I'd point out to Dave that Bruce Campbell will be there, but his money is still all tied up in his car, so too soon....you've got a cool hubby.

Maybe it's in the air...I haven't gotten much writing done in a while, either. Just feels..off...to sit down at the keyboard for it right now...which sucks because I want to work more on my original story...oh, well..the muse goes where it goes.

Hoping today won't feel as hot as yesterday.

We're not going to do the con, just go to the concert since it's open to the public. There's very little going on with people I want to see at the con, so I'm reserving the rest of the weekend for Craig. :)

Today was much cooler here, though it's still warm. Everybody back in England is so jealous, lol.

I envy you taking guitar lessons. My poor guitar hs been sitting nelgected in the corner for over a year. I haven't had the time or money to take lessons from someone, and my brother (who had been giving me lessons before) lives too far away now :-( It is oh-so-much fun!

And Good Luck with WW!! I've been on the wagon with it for the past 3.5 months now, and I really do adore it. About a half dozen of my friends are on it too, and all of us are having varying levels of success, but success none the less!

The best weight loss I ever had was with an organized program back in the UK after Alex was born. I love 48 pounds with that, but then when we moved back, it's slowly crept back on. I really do need the structure and I think this is what it's going to take. Plus, I think I've finally hit that low point where I *must* do it, lol.

So far, so good with the WW. I haven't cheated, and really have no inclination to cheat, though I'm annoyed that my favorite salad dressing isn't so hot pointwise, lol. But my chicken vegetable soup is free, which is wonderful. And we had baked pears the other night that were divine.

And I owe you everything for bringing it to my attention in the first place!
