I had such a fucking great weekend and I sure as hell feel lousy.  I tried for 2 days STRAIGHT calling my best friends but I got no answer.  I haven't been able to talk to anyone and my dad told me on sunday while I was AT THE TOUR that he eloped last tuesday.  Im going to go.... do something.

so the following weekend I went to Munich with a few kids from my group.  Friday night we went to this traditional German resturant.  The beer was great, as were the pretzals, but the dumplings and salmon that I got (yeah, no one's allowed to make fun of me for ordering salmon!) were... interesting.  It was really cute to see the waitresses dressed ( Read more... )

well I haven't kept you all updated as I said I would so here goes!   The first weekend that I was here I went to Amsterdam with a huge group of UF kids.   A few of us stayed in the Bulldog hostel which was really cool and convenient.  I really liked it.  It was so clean, and the security was great.  The people who worked there loved to tell people ( Read more... )

Hello from Mannheim!! I went to the doctor today, things are looking good, I feel pretty great aside from this lingering cough. He gave me new ear drops, and tomorrow I'm going in for blood work just to make sure he's not missing something major. I went to class today but I have to miss it tomorrow because of my dr's appt. Well I am alive. I went to the doctor on Tuesday because I was still sick and I have an ear infection. I called my mom, and she was in London, and so she and Jim came to Mannheim. I've been in a hotel (air conditioned!!) for the past 2 days sleeping and eating lots of food. And that is it. I haven't been outside since Wednesday, no joke. my ( Read more... )

oh and sidenote: I love the mini Bounty bar, and there is no A/C here!!!! I slept iwth no blankets because it is so hot!!

well I slept all morning and I'm feeling better except for my ear. My right ear really hurts for some reason. Maybe it's from the flight. Well I Got up today and started to straighten my hair and blew Katy's converter (sorry, I'll replace it!) i didn't have instructions for it and I guess it was supposed to be set on 1500 watts, not 50 watts.
