well I slept all morning and I'm feeling better except for my ear. My right ear really hurts for some reason. Maybe it's from the flight. Well I Got up today and started to straighten my hair and blew Katy's converter (sorry, I'll replace it!) i didn't have instructions for it and I guess it was supposed to be set on 1500 watts, not 50 watts. The strange smell should have tipped me off. At least it was the $40 converter and not my $100 straightener. I left my makeup bag in my dad's car and spend 50 euro on crappy makeup at the Kaufhaus. Oh well. My laptop is acting funky because of my wireless card, and I can steal wireless when I'm in my friends' room, but my card can only find secure connections when in my room. We just watched a car accident from the balcony. I'm doing pretty well with my German. Most people in their 30s and younger speak English from what I've noticed. Today I Went to the Markplatz and we went to the grocery store and I bought 6 2liter bottles of water. You ahve to pay 1euro for a shopping cart but you get it back when you return it. You also have to pay for grocery bags. It's cool because there is this street with all these shops (including H&M, yey!) and the entire street is closed for foot traffic only, so you can walk all over. I had a chicken gyro or Doener for lunch which was kinda gross but cheap so oh well. I had a beer yesterday that was pretty good but I'm not going to drink because I'm still sick and it's not a good idea to drink while sick and on antibiotics. I'll just have to wait til I'm 100%. Also, there's this huge fountain right in the middle of the city, and I realized that it's in the shape of a quatrefoil. There's a big tower next to it that you can go to the top of to have drinks at, so I'll be sure to head up there to take a picture at one point for all of my Phi Mu sisters.

Anyways, I miss you all a ton and wish that you were here to enjoy it with me!! XOXOXOXO
