OMG, I haven't laughed so much in ages. It's been a good long while since I've seen 10 Things, but everything in your post makes SO MUCH SENSE. I also love Arthur's need for specificity. It seems fair enough when you put it like that.

That is why whenever someone (EAMES) has to kiss someone for a job, Arthur is very detailed that the kissing should be ON THE MOUTH. Otherwise, who knows how Eames might interpret it? He's not being condescending, he's being protective of Eames' virtue.

When Eames first asked to kiss Arthur (because he's romantic, like that) Arthur was all "on my mouth?????" and Eames thought that Arthur was trying to tell him that he didn't kiss on the mouth because Eames was NOTHING to him. And so he gave Arthur a bj and whatever, but there was SECRET PINING and Arthur thought that Eames was turned off by him having to ask, and is transported back to his high school days of insecurity. BUT THEN RESOLUTION AND CUDDLING.
