They're from his Russian facebook. As to what he's doing... who knows? :D They were taken on a trip to NYC with his friend the Greek ice dancer whose name I forgot (the one who accompanied him to the V-Man event).

I wonder if that's what I'm doing wrong? My toe loop just doesn't have any strength to it. I think I need to stiffen the picking leg, maybe.

And I know how you feel, uh, that picture tickles so many of my secret Johnny-fetishes - the throat and the long long legs...

Could be. I don't know. I've suspected that the picking action isn't what it's supposed to be on my toe, but today it kind of became really obvious when I compared what I do on the flip to the toe. And then I tried to pay attention to that leg while doing the toeloop and I think it helps.

Twizzles are such a funny thing. Sometimes they work and sometimes they just DON'T. For me, of course, clockwise (on the left foot) is easier, while CCW is more difficult.
I find jumping on the ground really easy for some reason... might be because there's no slippery ice underneath? XD
