6 hours until a 4-day weekend. w00tness.

Alas, won't be going to Balticon for the day Saturday like we'd hoped as somebody seems to have spent all of our money on dolls.

So I was asked if I wanted to chair Conjecture 2009. Huh.

Quincy's busy matting and bagging two new pieces of his artwork for Gaylaxicon this weekend, and I just finished putting everything together for Thalia's artwork as well. (She did fairly well at Conjecture last weekend - sold half her pieces, which isn't bad.) Now I need to pack and get everything ready to head out tomorrow after work ( Read more... )

Quickie updates:

• Had a fabulous weekend at Busch Gardens a couple of weeks ago, despite the rain and drama llamas that were out in force. Some people should never be allowed to plan things. Ever. Ugh! (I'll be planning our trip to Gay Day at Kings Dominion in September.)

• Work is, as usual, kicking my butt. Love my co-workers (for the most part), hating the owners, and the drudgery and low pay are taking their toll. Still keeping my eyes open for something new, but the pickings are slim (although sent out quite a few resumes this week).
