Well, many of us experienced our first earthquake this morning. Blake always stays over on Thursday nights, so when it happened at 5:36 AM, Courtney, Blake, and I were sitting there basically staring at each other for a couple seconds. are you really asking how big the Richter scale is...?

uh, 10.0. biggest recorded is 9.8. making this pretty large, for Indiana/Illinois.

and there wasn't a lot of reported damage in Illinois. only minor things, like stuff falling off shelves. that's what the news said this morning, anyways.

I didn't even wake up! I'm so mad. And as far as I can tell, everything is fine -- I think we weathered the quake without any substantial damage.

CNN says the epicenter was less than 40 miles away from Evanville, Indiana -- I wonder how they're doing.
