Thank you so much <3
It costed a small fee (about $25 I found a coupon online so I paid $23 hehe) which isn't too bad. It looks like the project is going strong. I believe this is the 3rd or 4th year. I think its safe to say that they'll do it again next year. Sign-ups were from August to October so you can keep your eye out for it when it comes around again.

The Arthouse co-op is constantly having projects that are open to everyone, so you might find something you like in between. The Sketchbook Project is definitely their biggest event :) I hope you get a chance to participate! I love your drawings :)

Yay!!

Also, you don't get the sketchbook back :(
But it does get a nice home afterwards! It becomes part of the permanent collection of the Brooklyn Art Library where its accessible to anyone in the area.

I scanned all of my pages for my references. Its the next best thing :)

your drawings are adorable! i wish i incoperated color into mine..... i barely strayed from the pens i use at work to sketch my book. i wish i took more time to sketch, carried it on me more. i suppose i had reservations about putting "good" work into a book i'd never see again, although i think i'm going to start "digitizing" all of my sketchbooks as a way to keep track of them, so in essence i can do the same with future SP sketchbooks.

but definitely keep a sketchbook on ya at all times! i use mine for when i'm bored, feeling down, have an idea, homework notes LOL, everything! it can become apart of your life :) i need to find my regular sketchbook, it's MIA ^^;

Thanks :) Aww Sarah! I looove your drawings! The quality of your line work is awesome and you have so much movement and emotion in your characters! I don't think its a bad thing that your sketchbook is all pencils. Actually, I think Denny (Jan's Denny) did his in all pencils too ( ... )
