Thanks :) Aww Sarah! I looove your drawings! The quality of your line work is awesome and you have so much movement and emotion in your characters! I don't think its a bad thing that your sketchbook is all pencils. Actually, I think Denny (Jan's Denny) did his in all pencils too :)
You know! Before this project I was seriously considering on giving it all up (horrible I know!) because the last couple of years have been awful to me with the anime conventions and the career search... Drawing stopped being fun and turned into something really stressful for me. Maybe it was just bad timing or the wrong set of people, or whatever reason, it doesn't matter now. I definitely lost sight of the big picture and had to dig deep on why I do the things I do. This project helped me out so much in ways I can't describe. And I'm so proud that both of us finished!!
I'll keep a sketchbook on me at all times now like you said. I usually do carry one, but i never open it in public - I get embarrassed. But this will change :) I have 2 small sketchbooks that I can carry around. I think the smaller size will help me get over my fears if I can be sneaky about it :)
