Thank you so much <3 It costed a small fee (about $25 I found a coupon online so I paid $23 hehe) which isn't too bad. It looks like the project is going strong. I believe this is the 3rd or 4th year. I think its safe to say that they'll do it again next year. Sign-ups were from August to October so you can keep your eye out for it when it comes around again.
The Arthouse co-op is constantly having projects that are open to everyone, so you might find something you like in between. The Sketchbook Project is definitely their biggest event :) I hope you get a chance to participate! I love your drawings :)
Also, you don't get the sketchbook back :( But it does get a nice home afterwards! It becomes part of the permanent collection of the Brooklyn Art Library where its accessible to anyone in the area.
I scanned all of my pages for my references. Its the next best thing :)
Ive heard abut the The Sketchbook Project but didn't know what it was till NOW dangit! I would have participated. :[ Did it cost anything?
