I saw my doctor finally for my annual physical (yep, major7 , I guess we are on the same cycle). Yesterday I made what was probably not the smartest decision in awhile. I decided to head out to Cedar Ridge Nature Preserve to do a long hike. CRP has over 10 miles of trails and I wanted to try half of them. This time, I wanted to take my camera along to get some shots of thee bounty of nature there, grabbed a bottle of water and set out.

I have been exercising my ass off, literally. I am losing inches of fat all over - arms, ass, thighs, belly and back. My clothes are all looser. I have gone down to a regular XL size t-shirt, my pants are all down several inches and I am tightening my belts even more to hold things up. I can not believe I have lived here now going on my third year and today was the first time I have been hiking there. I decided to try something today that I just adore - platanos fritos. I get them every time I go to my favorite El Salvadoran restaurant here in Dallas, Gloria's and they seems pretty simple to cook. You just slice them up, fry in some oil and eat.
