Yesterday along with the rest of the middle of the country, the DFW got hit with some nasty weather including large hail and several tornado touchdowns. We were lucky in that the damage was not extensive like that in North Carolina, Alabama or Joplin this Spring, but still there has been damage and one death in Dallas. Yesterday at the Dallas Farmer's Market, I bought a small pot of Italian Basil. Winds up this is actually six separate plants and the lady running the booth told me to break them up to plant. I have been sick as crap for several days now, but after lounging around, sleeping on the sofa nearly all day and generally wallowing in my own misery, I decided to get a shower late this afternoon. The fever has broken and I did not feel nearly as weak as I did yesterday.

Sunny had possession of one of those rope chew toys that lasted all of about a week before she pretty much totally destroyed it. So tonight after work I stopped at Petco to get her a new one. This was payback for me being away all day on a weekend when she would be normally be running free a bit more.
