I got a notification about the 21 years of Livejournal, and figured I'd click through.  I guess this account is still a thing, not that I'm likely to ever use it again beyond this post marvelling that.. well, the account's still around, apparently.  Wonder if anyone would notice this.

I still exist! I just don't really use LJ anymore. I guess I don't have that much to talk about lately. I might start a Let's Play series type thing soon though on my YouTube.

I don't really use this all that much anymore. I got a facebook thing though that I post to on occasion, mainly cause I've got family on there, and I miss my family.

There's this one part in The Dark tower that always comes back to me, brings tears to my eyes when I remember it. Roland is teaching Susannah to shoot, and having her recite the Gunslinger's Creed, the part where she gets to "I kill with my heart" and blows the hell out of the targets, it just.. I dunno, that hits me hard for some reason.

Today I feel unusually down and lonely, and I'm not sure why. I crave contact, but fear seeking it out. Plus the usual feeling of uselessness, brokenness.

When the police in.. wherever Spiderman hangs out find some dudes webbed up from a light pole, and you know Spidey does that like all the time, what do they do? Does Spiderman leave a note saying "I caught these dudes robbing that liquor store" or "this guy took a lady's purse" or whatever? Do they then press charges on the webbed-up dudes? Okie, we found a place in Redmond and moved in and so far so good. I'm mildly concerned about the budget, but soon as the other guy's working everything should be just fine. I also got in touch with the old boyfriend and sorted some details out and things are amicable now ( Read more... )
