July 18: Have you ever been in a fist fight? If so how old were you? (ama_ranth_827)
Not that I recall. However, I have been in a few sibling brawls with the Lifeguard. Aside from pushing and shoving and one kick to the face, it never really got violent. the face-thing was really just a matter of wrong place for his foot and my face, in front of the school, at lunch. Had a real treat explaining to my Woodshop teacher why I had a defined shoeprint on my face, let me tell ya…
I did get punched, once time, by a little snot-nosed Jimmy Dunder. If you've ever seen To Kill a Mockingbird, the little snot that is Scout's BFF is a damn lookalike for that ass. I don't remember why we started fighting, but I remember it was snowing and we were at school, because there was an epic sledding danger zonehill and ramp when they cleared the parking lot into the back corner. My mother clearly remembers more of it than me, and she wasn't even there. But I know he clocked me in the face.
Thankfully, the little shit didn't break my glasses.
PS: It was some time between second and fifth grade... Most likely it was either fourth or fifth grade... so, I was probably...11?
