Skagit County Tulip Festival

The roomie and I went to Skagit County (the Mount Vernon area) today. We had heard about the tulip festival up there and wanted to check it out. (Tulips are my favorite flower.) Oh, those fields of flowers are gorgeous!

I wondered if you'd be able to find cheese curds out there. Were they as good as the Wisconsin ones?

The fields were beautiful. The tulips were a bit late this year because we had a very cold March. The cheese curds were good but not as good as the ones made in Wisconsin. (But I will take what I can get!)
