A friend posted that he has discovered he has 1604 books, thanks to a cataloging program called LibraryThing. I keep track of what books I've read in a little notebook, which I periodically transcribe into a spreadsheet. (Almost 3000 books read since 1972, when I started recording them.) But I have no idea how many books we have; however, we have

I knmow C. and I are over 3,000 books and that's about all I can say. When we got the place in Asheville I had built-in floor-to-ceiling bookshelves put in. Glad I did.
